Questions
- Can I sell EAs I build with QuantForge?
- Yes. The MQL source you export is yours, including on the MQL5 Market. Your QuantForge plan covers the builder, not the EAs.
- Where does the price history come from?
- From you: export bars from your own MetaTrader terminal (we provide a script) or import a CSV. It is stored privately for your account.
- Do I need MetaTrader?
- To trade the EA, yes. Building, testing and exporting source happen in the browser. Turning source into .ex4/.ex5 needs MetaEditor, which comes with MetaTrader.
- What happens if I cancel Pro?
- You keep your projects and exports. Above the free limits, projects stay readable but you can only create new ones within the free plan.
- How do AI credits work?
- Studio includes a monthly credit allowance for the AI assistant. A typical question uses a few credits; proposing a whole strategy uses more. Need more? Credit packs (1,000 = $10, 5,000 = $40) never expire.
